I work full-time as a visual artist, transforming discarded surfboards into unique canvases. My current body of work blends urban art, street aesthetics, and comic-inspired visual storytelling, focusing on reinterpreting everyday objects into bold, critical and humorous artworks.
Each piece is an original, hand-painted surfboard that reflects my fascination with surface, texture, and the cultural crossover between urban expression and subcultural lifestyles.
The project is not about serial production but about individual artistic expression – bridging street art and contemporary object art.
My works have been exhibited and will continue to evolve in series, with the goal of creating artistic visibility for upcycled materials in a fine art context.

SMiLE aka. Felix Reder, graffiti „writer“ since 2018. I always just wanted to paint, whether at home at school or on the street. I moved to Berlin in spring 2022. Before that I painted many walls in my hometown but in the city of graffiti I perfected my skills. I worked as an indoor trainer for Germany’s biggest indoor wave and had surfing experience since 2016. Graffiti was about getting your name out there and it quickly became clear which medium I had chosen. Surfboards!
i was very lucky when i meet my good friend and mentor Nuan, my year in Sri lanka was game changing in meaning of life and surfboard shaping.
